LiveArts Santa Fe Presents: Armor & Lace
ARMOR & LACE is a women-centered cabaret celebrating strength, softness, and the power of femininity. This intimate evening of drag, burlesque, and variety brings together bold performances, intentional costuming, and heartfelt storytelling. Each number explores the layers women wear to move through the world, from protection to vulnerability.
LiveArts Cabaret is honored to collaborate with Comunidad de Colores for a special Women’s Appreciation Show dedicated to raising awareness for health equity in Northern New Mexico.
Comunidad de Colores works to improve access to quality healthcare regardless of insurance status or ability to pay — addressing systemic gaps while centering dignity and autonomy.
“Cabaret has always been about storytelling, visibility, access, interaction, and care,” says Coco Caliente. “Comunidad de Colores is shaking up the medical system in much the same way cabaret once transformed theatre — intentionally breaking down barriers and meeting people where they are.”
